Getting ready for your SD card

We all “know” the SD card support is “on the way” for the Xoom. If you are like me you already picked up a 32 GB microSDHC card from somewhere for around $60 well I have to tell you about this. The Kingston 19-in-1 USB 2.0 Flash Memory Card Reader that is right. It claims to read 19 formats. In my tests it has read the 4 kinds of cards I have, no problem. For those wondering if it works on a Mac. YES it does. Plus it is only like $14. WIN!

Now while you do not “need” a reader it will make your life a bunch easier if you have multiple cards. Plus, if you are like me, you already have a bunch of other card types with their own readers this simplifies things a bit.

FYI: 64 GB cards are supported and you can “order” them in places but no one knows when they will be delivered.
